The car has had the PPP since pretty much new but as its a bugeye the ECU had an additional circuit board added inside to raise the boost. After speaking to Scott, i know now this needs to be removed for a remap so that the ECU handles the boost control again.
So ECU out of car and PPP board removed.

All now back in the car and relieved that my soldering (in)ability didn't fook anything up, car still works
