Cheques are a pain in the bum these days tbh. Don't take this the wrong way, but it means one of us has to go down the bank to cash it (£1 parking fee for 1 hr minimum to get to my local branch) and then transfer it from our personal bank account into the clubs Paypal account (which will incur a further Paypal fee of around 60p). Both Silversurfer and myself work full time, so trying to cash a cheque during bank hours can be a hassle (especially if a few people pay this way!). Paypal just makes it simple for us
