I'm sure there's more to this than what you read on the BBC Sport website....the comments were on Monday evening, it wouldn't have taken the club to the end of the week to suspend him if it was just about what he said on the tv interview. I suspect he's been in discussions in the boardroom...

I'm undecided on this one, he's been a great manager for sure for the club, no doubt. But he was there at the right time with Tony Bloom's funding and the stadium coming along. With the money from a 25,000-30,000 gate every game, most managers could do well. And at the moment there's several top managers floating around. Di Matteo was at the game on Monday, maybe he wants a job?
