Its not actually a bad way to learn the circuit in the wet (i did two wet laps on the first year i went). It keeps most of the fast supercars and bikers off the circuit and means you can concentrate on whats ahead rather than having to watch the mirrors all the time!

Alright Nige yes you're right - the place can be cold and wet one minute and baking the next. We've been very fortunate with the weather over the last few years so sods laws says we're due a bit of rain at some point.
