I'm not complaining about the cost of my insurance. I'm paying almost £3000 a year and I am not moaning, I understand that I (like all young drivers) are inexperienced and will have to spend this amount on insurance on the car I want. All I was saying is surely it's better for a young driver to drive hard on a track and if not many companies will track insure under 25s its hard for us to 'practice' our driving.

I am not saying I'm a good driver and not saying I'm the most sensible.

But I have only just realised what track insurance covers so really all this is wasted as though I would be liable if I hit someones car.

It's like walking down the street and a couple cross the road just because I'm young so they assume that.... im carrying a knife?
