Default Silicone industion pipe (Newage)

Hi,

I bought a silicone inlet pipe from a member on ScoobyNet a while back and finally got around to trying to fit it, I compared it to the stock pipe and all the connections etc. looked in the right places. Fortunately I took the first section of the standard intake before butchering main pie to get it off the car - for the life of me I cannot work out how to fit this new pipe to the one from the airbox. I have added pictures below (clickable thumbnails), any ideas anyone?
