Spoke to Ande today and he said best thing to do is remove it as they have lots of functions and it probably needs a reset, but the instructions are a bit complicated to work out.
So we will get him to fit new Toad Sigma alarms in our cars in a couple of months as he gave me a good price for doing both the cars in the same day
