The old NS2's were definitely ditch finders though

I spoke to Budgie before buying my 888s He runs the NS-2R soft 120's (they do a 120 wear and 180 wear version) on his track car and said he could not tell the difference between them and 888s. So I would think a bargain at 110 odd a corner. the only reason I bought 888s is TheHandbrake said.. JuST GET THEM!

(888s wear rate is 100 i.e. wears out quicker!),
I had also noticed after speaking with Demon tweaks that you might be able to get the Federal FZ-201 track tyres (these are fitted to the ring rental cars) and very sticky, slightly better wear rate than the 888s as well, and don't tend to go off when they get hot but they do have a 10 day lead time getting them into the UK.. The Federal 595's should be available off the shelf.
hope that helps!
There is also of course the new AD-08R from Yokohama....
