Default front wheel bearing

ive got an mot coming in a few months and am aware of a noise on full lock going anticlockwise that I believe is the drivers side front wheel bearing showing early signs of tiredness - high pitched squeal

are these hard to change and is it better to go for whole hub or just do the bearing ? ive come from landrover ownership where a wheel bearing meant a whole hub at £300 or £180 for pattern part so would be nice just to be able to do a bearing if that's all it needs

wish there was a Haynes manual for these tbh just to give noobs like me some clue
