Default New Tyres

Now that the car is back on the road it's time to consider getting the wheels refurbed and the colour changed. Makes sense to remove the budget tyres and replace them at the same time.

Wheels: Rota Grid Drifts 18" x 9.5, ET38, 5 x 100
Current Tyre Size: 235/40/ZR18

Is 235 a good size tyre for these wheels? The wheels are very easy to damage if kerbed as the rim sticks out further than the tyre! Would a wider 245 or 255 fit the car without rubbing?

I've done a tyre make thread before and quite like the Vredestein for price/performance, but feel free to suggest others

I'm leaning towards an anthracite colour (similar to StevePPP) as white is awful to keep clean

I've managed to do a great deal with 1st for alloys so all this should be happening fairly soon.

Opinions and suggestions very welcome
