OK, I've decided to stay with the current size 235/40 and just ordered a set of

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta - 235/40 R18 95Y XL - £84.89 each inc free delivery from Tyreleader

Seems to be a good price (Camskill said they couldn't match it.)
