I use a my arai or shoei bike helmets with the visors taken off.
A full face is good in the fact that you get better protection, but also can use for open top car tracking or go karting.
Bike helmets are and can be used on bikes, car helmets can't be used on bikes.
I am thinking of getting a open face soon though for track days as if hanging around in the pits it nicer to wear.
