You don't need an FMIC for over 400hp, there are cars running circa 500whp on the TMIC, you only really want to fit an FMIC if your tracking the car, and even that has some down sides..
The standard airbox is ample very well designed for around 400bhp before it becomes restrictive, this would require MAF rescaling in the map anyway. It would be good to see another view with the filter fitted from the other side, looks nice in the hood install pic you have linked
