I'm not sure if the bug had them but Blob WRX onwards used 40mm inverted dampers similar to the STi. Therefore Front or Back will suffer the usual wear and knocking noises.
Easy enough to check by jacking up and lifting the dust cover to check the damper. Below shows the quite obvious differences.
