I don't know the full history either, but I find Subaru to have a good community spirit.
Here, Surrey Scoobies and subaruforester.org all have friendly and helpful members with good meets and people who help each other out in the real world as well as the virtual world!
Could be I'm just lucky to know the three good 'uns!
