I can see what your saying herbert - but this is never going to be an easy thing with the club covering such a large area. Sometimes a fairly long drive might be necessary to go to a meet (but i know everyone here enjoys driving - if you didn't, you wouldn't own a scoob!
).
the flip-side to this is consider the opposite end of the region - when was the last time a meet was held towards the West end of Surrey, or West Sussex - think Midhurst, Petworth, Chichester, Haslemere, Farnham etc. As SES, we've never had a meet that way, i guess purely because it makes sense to make it more central to get members coming from both East and West directions. in all honesty, it'll never be possible to please everyone.....
