Its really easy, you just unplug the EGT sensor at the connector which is under the black plastic cover next to the driver's side suspension turret.
Then trim the resistor legs down to the right length to shove into the plug on the loom side:
Found those pic on google, mines the same except i've taped the connector up so water can't get in. Been fine like that for 6 or 7 years
The resistor has to be the right rating, think its 2.2k ohms.
