From Calais. We got a crossing late Friday night then drove down through France during the night to arrive at the circuit around 5 AM. It was around 6 hours driving (I missed a lot of it though as I was dozing!
) but, if we do it again, we won't do it that way.
It was around 7 hours coming back, but it was a much more relaxed drive back to Calais and we made a few food stops en route.

It's not a big jump, but its enough to get four wheels off the ground! There is a tight chicane immediately after the jump, so it's interesting watching how drivers set the cars up for the corner as they come over the jump.
