Trying to revert from how downhill this thread has gone, if I were in the position to need to replace a radiator I would be looking at the aftermarket options. Agreed, sometimes a slightly more expensive aftermarket option isn't always necessary but if it looked the part, is still easy to fit and works as well as (or probably/hopefully better and for longer) then a nice, for example Mishimoto one, would be the way to go.

It's the same with silicon hoses, people know that in most cases the OE ones are fit for purpose and work perfectly in most cases, but most of us would still choose the nicely coloured aftermarket options because we like to show them off and have that 'piece of mind'
