Can anyone help please ? Screen replacement for my jdm 96 plate wagon does anyone know the correct tint shade?
Following a chip on the screen last week and booking a replacement autoglass asked about the colour stating it's either "grey or green" tint. When I said it looks grey the reply was "I'm surprised as almost everyone we fit is green ".
On checking repeatedly it could be either depending on the light imo.
I'm trying to avoid any further delays as 'autoglass 'cancelled today saying the glass hadn't arrived ? When I again asked about the colour they suggested placing a white piece of paper behind the glass and this would reflect the colour. It didn't help so still unsure
Or should I be going to specsavers
I was told there are no give away codes etc on the screen to identify although it does have Nippon stamped on the glass so I assuming it's original?
