Autoglass arrived today
,after much discussion about location and the size of the chip decision was to repair and not replace.
Not ideal cosmetically but after chatting with the guy it turns out it would have been his first Subaru replacement, ,he was really nervous about attempting it especially as he could see how much the car meant to me ,so I'm happy with the outcome.
If there is a next time I'll check first with KM with who I can use? When I called the glass line listed it redirected to Autoglass and after Scott posting about using/ recommending Auto Windscreen's I should have spoke to them aswell.
