Last year I was fortunate enough to get an invite to the inaugural 6R4.net track day. After posting a few pictures in 2015, they very kindly invited me back again for this years event.





After a cloudy start the weather continually improved throughout the morning… and then it pissed down! That didn’t stop the flow of cars on track though, and the rain made for some interesting viewing.













As with last year there were a few non-MG’s in the mix. That included a certain car wearing a blue oval on the front…



…and an old Italian as well:





















There seemed to be a lot more enthusiastic driving this year, though Mark Holmes was unquestionably the king of big slides: I don’t think he did a single run without at least one big sideways moment!















With no real break in the action on circuit, I rather lost track of time and therefore didn’t get a chance to go sniffing round the paddock for a passenger ride. One of the owners spotted me trackside though and gave me a shout to jump in…



…a spin in an RS200 was definitely a good way to round the day off!

















Very cool to be able to spend a day in such close proximity to so many rally classics!
