Hawk gearbox is totally revised compared to earlier 754 and 752 boxes and is generally more reliable
with a 5speed its more down to driving style/use IMO than it is to a specific threshold and have had many instances of std cars being heavily abused destroying gearboxes where high torque cars have no problems - have 1x customer with the "weakest" 752 style currently near 440lbs/ft and has been for 10yrs+

engine spec also comes into it as the higher power cars suit the longer UK 5spd gearing generally
