Right guys, I will link the menu for Friday night dinner at Jackies. If you can let me know what each of you want so that I can forward this to her, that would be great.


Soups and starters
Fresh deep fried mushrooms served with mayonnaise 6, 50

King prawns on a bed of honey-balsamic Puy lentils, served with Rucola pesto 9, 50

Cream of fresh white asparagus soup 4, 50

Cream of fresh carrot soup topped with whipped cream 4, 50


All dishes are served with a side salad. All the herbs that are used are grown in our own herb garden. Please choose your own accompaniment for your main course from the following (Except for the Chef ́s Salad)
French fries, potato croquette, sautéed potatoes, potato gratin, boiled potatoes or rice
Plaice fish fillets served with fresh stewed tomatoes



Bread crumbed pork escalope, fried in butter

Rump steak, served with homemade herbed butter

Chef’s special salad strips of chicken breast and pork tenderloin, lightly fried, served with peppers, tomato, onions, a mixture of leaf salad and fresh herbs

Roasted chicken breast marinated with thyme, lemon, sweet pepper and garlic

Homemade beef olive, filled with gherkins onion and bacon, served with apple red cabbage

Homemade tagliatelle, served with wild garlic and almond pesto, tomatoes and shavings of fresh parmesan (V)

Grilled pork tenderloin served with a pepper cream sauce

Pan fried turkey breast served with an orange sauce and a cinnamon peach

“Osso buco”, calf shin bone, cooked slowly with red wine, fresh rosemary and tomatoes

Pork escalope “Lukullus”, oven baked with cheese, mushrooms and onions
