IMHO don't scrimp on fuel pressure regs (like the £30 ebay special), much like buying cheap injectors.
They are a very important factor to achieve the correct fuelling.

They also need to be mapped for, as just throwing on a reg will achieve little.
If setup wrong it will underfuel, leading to detonation and end of engine Or overfuel and hurt your wallet and actually loose power due to an over rich mixture.

(it's suprising the number of people that fit larger injectors expecting more power without mapping)

I would advise using something like the Aeromotive or FueLab, both available for approx £200 with Subaru rail fittings.

They also need to be 1:1 rather then rising rate, and able to cope with the required level of Boost Pressure (inc atmospheric pressure of 1bar), so would need to be rated at 2.5bar if you want to run 1.5bar.
