Well here you are Martyn. Here is a taster.
Here are all three "live" Vulcans (taxi-able or flying) in one place. XL426 has had a visit from the Wagon Sqn. XM655 will have a visit from SES next year. And XH558 will hopefully be still flying. But I have them all in one place. Oh, and XL321 in white livery was sadly broken up in 1983. So it's a ghost!
I have made all the buildings and now need to lay out the grass in a different fashion to make a dispersal pan (awaiting the turf specialist). Then plan final positioning of the buildings (awaiting Council planning dept). The vehicles will need repainting in airforce grey once I've got a few more (awaiting the auctioneer and vehicle paint specialist).
Of course, I am using the services of Wagon Squadron's finest, F Off Krud Simpleton, to ensure authenticity!!
Julia does enjoy the deafening sound of four Olympus engines as I fly XL321 round the bedroom of an evening.
And here is next week's project. This one is 1:72 scale so will need another set of buildings and vehicles. Already got a nissen hut and fire tender - so it's somewhere for the fire crew to keep out of the weather, and the fire tender is in case the adhesive catches fire. I am quite mad!
Please note the Vulcan appeal
