I had a budget of 2K and was looking for something R/P reg. There was plenty out there, but all of them were in awful condition with high mileage and very little service history. I up'd my budget a few times, but in the end bit the bullet with one at 3.2K... mainly thanks to no-bars-krud showing me the error of my ways. I’d been looking at spending 2K and then a fair bit more doing it up, but by spending more on the car I got what I wanted straight off.
I found an MY00 wagon with... full dealer service history, 3 owners from new, 63K miles, almost new Goodyear Eagle F1’s, 1 mod (the backbox) and an enthusiast of an owner. The car really was in another class compared the rest of the cr*p I’d looked at.
This is my 3rd Impreza and I think I know a little about them now, but I still took just over 2 months to find this one! Take your time and you’ll find what you want.
