some myths with regards to methonal and e85 use.
it does not eat fuel lines, or injector orings or fuel tank or plastic fuel cans etc..
You do not need to change anything other than get it mapped for it.. it is easier to run as a %'age.. as running pure e85 has issues with getting it... unless you are near a morrisons that stocks it etc..
I have used both meth and e85 in both my impreza's and mapped many using it.. usual gain on 10% mix in tank is 8% power increase but the car feels more responsive and crisp.
Mainly due to the fuelling change as both meth and e85 have a different stoich point to petrol and therefore the desired AFR is altered both as the reading is incorrect on the wideband as it is reading for just petrol and also because the meth / e85 allow a different AFR to be used.
