So glad I didn't fit this, thank god I was in the middle of dry-lining our utility room or it may well of been on.
Looked all over the outside of this when it arrived checking for cracks in the exhaust housing where it mounts on the flange and round the back of the compressor, where the TD05's normally crack.
Didn't think to check inside the back.
It will probably effect the spool, if you think what a crack in the up-pipe can do.
I also think the pennie valve isn't shutting flush due to there being a step in the flange due to the crack.
One thing is for sure, it's only going to get worse.
