The biggest single reason we do this date is so that we all only need to take one day off of work, the Friday. Which is why other people are after booking it.
Scott, next year, we would be leaving on the Friday 27th May, the day after Mrs Scotts Birthday. If Ian was able to keep schtum this time

With regards the Ring being quiet, it's never quiet now as a rule.
It wasn't bad most days this weekend, Saturday afternoon was obviously a write off. But any other time, people got out there no problem. So it seems pretty much perfect for many reasons. The response to go at the same time pretty much agrees with that.
