The old Reims Motor Circuit, and Spa
As part of the Nurburgring trip, we visited the old GP circuit at Reims, France, and on the way back, drove the original parts of the Spa circuit in Belgium.
The grandstand and pit area, where you can drive quite fast up and down, and a certain car
Round back of the grandstands
View from up top
Julia drives past at some miles per hour
Lap timing boards
Part of the old circuit, no longer a through road
Man in action
Not all is restored yet
And now onto the old Spa circuit, considered too fast in it's day, that the GP drivers refused to drive it. The Spa circuit today incorporates a bit of the old circuit but is much smaller.
The crash barriers give it away
Where the old straight joins the new circuit
Under the circuit
Today's GP circuit
