Thanks, very observant of you re the tyres. Must get them sorted although technically they are still legal - although they are bald on the very outer edge ,the inner 3/4 of the tread has well over the legal limit of 1.6mm.

From what I can gather its not illegal to be bald on the outer edge so long as the inner 3/4 is over 1.6mm. ?

But welcome any advice on this as It does bother me every time I look at them, but will likely change them anyhow. But if they are illegal it will get sorted much sooner rather than later.
