It's always bloody freezing down in the Brook. I live just the other side of the Crowborough Cross, sometimes when it's really cold, the difference between the top of the hill and the Brook is 3 - 4 degrees. Last Christmas, I was coming back from Shoreham, at the army camp it was 1 degrees, at my Brother in Laws it was -4
All in the space of 2 miles!
I used to like Big Soup
I can remember the days of being so skint that all I ever ate was toast. A treat was having marmite on it, or a REAL treat was a pot noodle! It makes me shudder just thinking about it!
