Defo been done before then, but sounds like some have failed, as you do blow a small amount of oil through from the turbo.
"Have used twin Z32's on a skyline in the blow through position (no room for stuff pre turbo due to turbos being so big) It worked, but didn't last long. MAF's required a lot of cleaning (oil residue mainly). "
Would be easier to come up with some sort of diverter to trap the water i.e like the OE resonator box
