If its a late MY98 then it will have 440cc injectors as standard in which case happy days. As it will also have the 4 pot breaks which many people seem to forget about in the persuit for power. If its got yellow top 440's then just decat the downpipe as well, K&N panel filter and again depending on the change over point on a MY98 you then need to think about either a ECUTEK remap on the stock ECU, or you might have to go apexi PFC route and remap, and then hey presto approx 270 bhp and a nice drive.

If its an early MY98 then you will have 380cc injectors in which case you may have to think about a fuel pump and FRP. I was running 305bhp on 380's in a classic with a 2.5 bottom end and VF28 at one point so even if you have 380's then IMO you will be OK, but the injectors are likely to be worked hard and not ideal.
