Pressure doesn't equate to flow, and on boost the walbro pump can deliver a lot more fuel into the same pressure. In practice the Walbro has little effect off boost since the ecu runs closed loop, but on boost the pump will cause more fuel to be fed into the engine due to the fact that the oem pressure reg cannot flow the same amount away from the rails that the pump delivers hence the pressure actualy does rise a bit. Its not a "problem" as such since the reason for fitting the pump should be that the performance is going to be hiked, the std pump is fine if the ecu is std.
Intresting, dose sound like your statment is aimed at a standard car with a oem pressure reg a oem ecu. Iv allways been under the impresson that 3 bar of fuel pressure is 3 bar of fuel pressure regardless the size of the pump.

do u have to be a menber of p1woc to veiw? if not can you send me the link.
