Sounds like a good enough day with a good result
. NW is an horrific surface, plus there is often a large amount of crap on the ground waiting to give you a puncture as there are usually jumble sale/markets there when there isnt a sprint.
The layout is fairly indicative of most airfield sprints although is probably the least imaginative but not by much. Debden is a bit trickier, but the track stuff is usually the best.
