if your going to fit a genuine Subaru part, then best/easiest place (as a dealer won't help with a Jap Import) is :

All are Bosch parts, just with OE/Subaru connector.
They all function in the same way regardless of part nmber.
The part number just specifies the connector and cable length, which can be visually checked against the link I posted in your other thread.

It looks like it's in the downpipe onthe 98 and not the header pipe so will have a very short cable.
Just pop the bonnet and check the connector.
The Lambda will be in the top of the downpipe just inder the intercooler.
if it's in the header pipe the cable will come up the front drivers side of the cam belt cover at the front of the engine, with the connector mounted on the top corner of the cover.

If you end up with the wrong connector, its no big deal as the pins/crimps can be released with a small screw driver and re-inserted into your existing connector shell. The GOLD crimp must be fitted in the correct position, the other two silver crimps can go either way as they are just the heater resistor connections.
