She really enjoyed the day...... bless

Ok, guys and gals, I'm back from the Ring and first of all, as Clive doesn't have any internet access where he, Heather and the others are staying, let me tell you that they have a great time and say 'hi' to you all.

Now back to my trip. The only thing I can say is that the 11 hour round trip after 4 hours of sleep was worth every single meter. Colin and I went to bed at 1 am on Sunday morning after a concert, then got up at 5 again and then it was off to the Ring. We got there at about 11 am and Clive had texted me that they had done a lap already in the morning and then got back to the hotel as the Ring had got too busy. So we were meeting them there, had a nice chat and drink outside in the garden and convoyed down to the River Mosel where we stopped at a nice restaurant, sitting outside enjoying ourselves, the beautiful countryside and the lovely weather. The convoy was already so exciting for me, as it was only the second time for me after the Richard Burns Day last year when we convoyed up to Prodrive. It's just so great to be in a convoy with so many Scoobies.

Then we convoyed back to the hotel, had a nice chat and drink outside again and then, at 5 pm, it was off to the Ring where Clive took me for the blast of my life. It was just breathtaking, I was just sitting there with a huge smile on my face............... To give you an idea, one of the guys we had passed said to me afterwards headshaking: "Clive is a real nutter. I mean we where not hanging about either.............."

It was just sooooooooooooooooooo great, and, as I said before, the day was strenuous, but worth every single meter of these 1000 km to get there and back. I went back home at about 6 pm and arrived here a few minutes after midnight. I'm still knackered but absolutely happy and will never ever forget this experience.

That's why a big thank you to Clive and Heather for a lovely afternoon and a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge thank you very much to Clive for giving me such a fantastic experience!!!!!!!! I'm the happiest girl on earth now !!!!!!!

Thanks, lads. I was just thinking that when I was at the London Rally School two years ago they took me for what they call a White Knuckle Ride. It was really amazing what they can do with the car and I was so well chuffed afterwards. I mean it was a professional rally driver who took me round. But comparing this ride to the one at the Ring I really must say, I enjoyed the ride with Clive even more by lengths!!!!!! I can't stop that huge grin on my face when thinking about it or when friends ask me how it was.
