My first trip in the GT3 nearly scared me to death. I got in and was greeted by this little old fella called Chris who was very nice, don't get me wrong but all i could envisage was poodling down the back straight with Classic fm on. Oh well i thought, it's still a ride in a nice car. Off we set, dear me, how wrong could i have been. We were approaching the second corner so fast I honestly thought we'd had it! I'd have braked about 5 seconds earlier but once he braked i could see why he left it so late as i nearly went through the windscreen! Anyway round we went ridiculously fast,I got out shaking. Before i got out i complemented him on his driving, "well" he said, "I've been in motorsport all my life racing and as a little bit on the side to top up my pension i instruct here"(at Bruntingthorpe). That would be why you're so good then?! Lesson learnt, never judge a book by its cover.....

My boy thought exactly the same when he saw him get out of the car said oh great this is gonna be fun but he also came back with a huge smile on his face
