Forgive the triple attack on the thread, but more news and videos! The overall event winner was Rhys Millen who took the win by less than a tenth of a second and set a new course record of
9:46.146 in the process.
Tajima and his electric car looked bloody fast in the practice...
...but he failed to complete the course on race day. Interesting to see that the fastest electric car to the top was only 25 seconds behind the event winner.
It was a
really bad race day for the unlimited class cars. Unsure what happened to the two RS200's, but neither of them finished the climb.

Paul Dallenback had a incredibly luck escape when his throttle stuck on at
130 MPH 
...
...but not as lucky as Jeremy Foley, who launched his Evo off the hill...
...he was running with a co-driver: both of them were injured, but they are OK.
