Thought I may as well pop a thread up about my Brat build.
Thats how I bought it, I've stripped the front end
And done bugger all else really since last year.Except a lot of research on high power scoobs in general.Oh and parts collecting. But now I have my garage back after selling this
So I can crack on
Got a 2.5 cdb with forged guts done 5k miles, but it has wrx heads on it so my mission this week is to finish stripping the engine and check it all so there's no tears later....(Thanks Anger) Launch the wrx heads in the bin.....
Still debating on head choice as I have newage manifold with 800 Lateral Injectors...but I have a brace of V3sti heads (
that I'm just stripping to have a look over) and a ph 1 front entry inlet manifold. Hmmmm
Whatever heads I use they will sent to be cnc ported and hand finished, new bronze guides and valves and spring etc etc.....its all in the heads chaps
Need the engine bay to look something like this
If I get it something like this I'll be happy........
