LOL....Rubble was put into hole between edge of old patio and lawn, and used to backfill. Turned out to be just the right amount to bring it up to 200mm below the damp course.

added 50mm of sand on top to level and protect waterproof membrane followed by 50mm Insulation and 100mm Concrete Slab.

Took today off as weather for the end of the week looks shocking....so cracked on and finished outer coarses of brick and the last 2 inner coarses.

Started at 0800, finished laying at 1500. Pointed up outer coarse as it started raining.

All covered up now and ready for the snow !!!!!!

Total Cost in Materials £1200
Total Time 9 weeks, approx 1-1.5 days per week.

Very satisfied with result....just need to take down and re-assemble the neighbours Conservatory now !!!!!!!
