Guys and Girls,
Some of you may know we had a Facebook page last year when the forum was going through technical troubles, and it was a good way of keeping in touch. We decided that when the forum problems were sorted, we didn't want it anymore as it led to content being posted on Facebook that should have been on the forum instead.
However, the fact remains that it's a great way to advertise events and to post up photo galleries after these events. So, over recent weeks, Nick (BlueBugEye) has put a lot of effort into getting this up and running - and he's done a cracking job.
To keep the content and chat on the forum, the page doesn't have a public wall that anyone can post stuff on. However, SES moderators can post information and updates about events and this will of course appear on your Facebook feed. Its very much being used to help promote the club and our events, and is certainly not a replacement for the forum
Hopefully some people might even find us via the Facebook page and then choose to sign up as an active member on the forum. We've uploaded photos from some of our meets/events over the past year so it doesn't look like an empty new page! All of our upcoming events are also on there too.
