You'll be absolutely fine just make sure to clutch in before you engage the handbrake and give a quick blip of the throttle before you bring it back up to make the manoeuvre as smooth as possible / minimise wear on the drivetrain.

As others have mentioned you can also adjust the DCCD to rear wheel bias which will make it far more predictable during the slide. Either way, a quick tap of the brake will bring the car back into line straight away
