Thanks everyone. Think I will probably go with the Eagles, as the 3 version has been in the top one or two of some magazine tyre tests this year, and seems to be a decent price/performance ratio. The Eagle AS2 version is pretty much universally recommended on Scoob forums etc, and I doubt that the newer version is worse.

Have struggled to find Vredesteins under £100 fitted but if anyone has a link, could go for them too. Having said that, this looks a bit scary:

Michelin Pilot Sport 4s are under my price limit, but Cups are not. Will chat to the tyre shop and see what they think too.
