Default Peugeot 308 GT

Mate asked me to give his year old Peugeot 308 GT a once over following the bad weather etc.

In a year of owning it it's done just over 12k and he's washed it prob twice at best!

Turned up to me looking beyond filthy following the snow we had and had bird mess stains on the bonnet and scratches along the roof and rear quarter where cats use it as a seat!

Started 7:30am yesterday morning when it was 2 degrees! It was so cold my snow foam had turned to a slush puppy in the container pmsl!!

As you can see it was pretty filthy.

Started with the good old valet pro snow foam and left that to dwell for 5mins to try and soften up some of the grime..

I gave this a rinse Off and then proceeded to clean the wheels and the arch linings.

Then re foamed the car and used a soft bristled details brush on the badges and exhaust trims and grill areas...

Gave it another rinse and then two bucket washed with chemical guys maxi suds 2..

Then gave it a good clay bar and got the machine out.

Being only a year old the paint was pretty good and just minor scratches and swirls.

Menzerna compound and orange pad seemed to do the trick.

Used some menzerna power lock sealant and then topped up with Petes 53 wax.

Seemed to come out ok i think. Lovely colour in the fleck of this paint...
