Evening everyone. My bugeye is currently having the rust cut out of the rear arches and being replaced with repair panels and then having a full respray done and I’ve got the dilemma of refurbishing my current wheels which are 17 inch or buying new ones in 18 inch. I’ve done plenty of reading on here so if I’m correct I will need 18 x 8 and the closer I get the offset to ET42 the more the wheel will fill the arch. Is that correct?
My car is currently on stock suspension but I will probably lower it next year so if I go with ET42 offset will I rub if lower the car? Also with regards to tyres I guess 225s will be a better choice than 235s if rubbing was going to be an issue?
