Decided I needed a boost gauge and found a pro sport evo on ebay for £25!! Not bad considering it should have been £65 new. Thought it should go somewhere a bit different so armed with a hacksaw blade and some side cutters:

Decided to offset it a bit to angle it round toward my eye view then cut out the ratchety bit:
Cut a hole at the back and drilled a hole further back in the ducting to feed the wire down:
