For what its worth, when choosing a pub, can it, if poss have some sort of facilities for family/kids etc. The Old mill was great in this respect as it has a park next to it, so the mrs and kids dont get bored. I think alot of us can only get to the meets on the basis there is something to do for them the other end, and its more of a day out. Personally I cant see why you would need a park etc when you have a load of cars to look at, but there we go - thats kids for ya! I do try to leave them at home every few meets!
